Alceu ribeiro biography channel

Alceu Ribeiro was born at the departmen of Artigas, Uruguay, in Alceu Ribeiro begins teaching drawing and painting at Del Trabajo University in Montevideo in and the next year he travels throughout South America. In he visits Mallorca for the first time and, in , he takes over his brother Edgardo workshop in Mallorca, but it will be in when he finally settles on the island, travelling frequently to Uruguay.

In Alceu Ribeiro joins Dalmau art gallery of Barcelona and would remain one of its artists until his death. In on the centenary of his birth, an homage dedicated to him is organized at the St. Bois Hospital, where a mural done by him alongside Joaquin Torres-Garcia and other members of his workshop.
